11. California Law

These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record requests for existing state or local agency records are addressed by the California Public Records Act (CPRA), Government Code §§ 7920.000 et seq. An agency ordinarily determines within 10 days whether responsive disclosable records exist, with a possible written extension of up to 14 days for unusual circumstances. Inspection is ordinarily free; copies may carry the direct cost of duplication, and an agency need not create a new record or list. See the California public-records explanation.

California consumer privacy rights are described by the California Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code §§ 1798.100-1798.199.100. The California Delete Request and Opt-out Platform at privacy.ca.gov/drop addresses registered data brokers; neither CCPA rights nor DROP deletes an official deed, court record, or other government record that its custodian must retain.

12. Severability

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in effect.
